Hi guys.

I'm currently starting a plan (as of yesterday) to get into shape for Ibiza 2011. I'm 18 and I was about 10st 2lbs give or take before Malia this year but didn't do anything but cardio 5-6 times a week. I returned to the gym yesterday (after a 6 week gap) and was shocked to find I was 9st 7lbs! So I want to put some decent weight on in muscle and I've set a goal of 11st - 11st 7lbs by summer 2011.

In previous sessions (when doing some resistance) I've used Reflex Instant Whey post training. As much as I love this supplement for the taste and mix-ability I was wondering if switching to Reflex Micro Whey will benefit me more.

Looking for some advice also on diet and training, my current plan is this:

Training 4 times a week

Monday - Chest, Triceps and Abdominal + 150 - 300 calories burned 20 min treadmill
Tuesday - Biceps and Back + 150 - 300 calories burned 20 min treadmill
Wednesday - Shoulders, Legs and Abdominal + 150 - 300 calories burned 20 min treadmill
Thursday - off day due to band practise
Friday - Abdominal and 30 minutes of cardiovascular activity
Sat - Off
Sun - Off

My diet is currently this:

8:30 - 40g bowl of cheerios (no milk)
10:30 - Apple
12:30 - Apple and Wholemeal Turkey sandwich (2 slices of Hovis wholemeal medium sliced bread and 2 slices of Bernard Matthews 3% fat Roast Turkey)
4:00 - 5:10: Training
5:10 - 2 Scoops of Instant Whey with water
6:00 - Jacket Potato or Baby New Potatoes, Lettuce, and 1/2 Chicken Breast (Skinless) or Fish

During the day I will be drinking White Tea (no milk no sugar) and Water that is it.

So Micro Whey or Instant Whey? (money is not an issue so I will pay more if needed) and also tips and advice on diet and training.

Cheers in advance!

Guys,

Having finally finished off the typical newby error of 'Holland & Barrett' precision engineering whey protein, and muscle gainer, which I have to admit did very little for me. I need your advice guys on which protein shakes are best.

Standing at a slim but not lean 6ft 2, I'm looking to increase upper body mass, and probably like every one else avoid adding any unneccasry mass to the belly.

I'm training 2 to 3 times a week for about an hour each session, but after 2 months only seeing minimal results, which I expect is mainly due to previously insufficient supplements, and very recently a lack of over eating on my part.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated and I look forward to receiving comments when you can.

Cheers

David

hi guys

Not sure how many of you would have actually tried high 5 4;1 as a post work out recovery but what do you think of the ingredients compared to PHD 2:1.

I am currently using 2:1 but have used 4:1 in the past for re-hydration purposes, do you think the quality of the whey in 2:1 is better as well?

Also after reading the post work out myths exposed i actually having this straight after training not a good thing? — "consuming a protein shake immediately after training hinders optimal results"

Im currently loosing weight for an MMA fight coming up so i normally have just half a scoop of the PHD

Thoughts are appreciated

Cheers

flavour wise banana wasn't great and chocolate was alot nicer but not as nice as i remember it been from some samples i had a while back.
dont think i would buy this product as it would become a chore to drink however i have also tried the whey and that was quite nice.
