Hey,

So I've been using ISO7 for about a week now and today on my weekly weigh in it shows that i am 4 pounds heavier :S.

I am on a calorie deficit at the moment and my diet feels right so I am just curious as to what could cause me to be 4 pounds heavier in a week??? Is it maybe the creatine or any of the other bit n bobs in the ISO7.

The weight gain doesn't bother me as I know i've not put on fat. Just me being curious :p

Even worse - I have digital scales and when I step on them my weigth always shoots up to 270lbs mark, then as it calibrates comes down closer to my weight, but for a moment or two itll bounce about my weight - 206, 212,209, 208, and then settle on my actual weight... it always makes my throat go dry!

Starting My Cut

Hey guys, wanting to start my cut real soon, As ive mentioned in another thread I pretty much have all my supps in place for doing it and have a good...

Hey guys, wanting to start my cut real soon, As ive mentioned in another thread I pretty much have all my supps in place for doing it and have a good idea of what food Im going to be eating,

Just wanted some advice on a few things first though,

Firstly, As ive been bulking for a while now how quickly should I start cutting, I had a right blow out over the weekend as I went camping so have had pub food and a Nandos yesterday (plenty of carbs) so do I come off my carbs slowly ? If so how long ? Or should I just start cutting straight away and struggle through it for the first few days ?

Ive been on a fairly high carb diet for the past few months now whilst still keeping my bodyfat around the 18-19% mark, set my goal at getting to the 15% mark, anything lower than this will be a bonus.

As eager as I am to start I have heard I should come off carbs slowly but dont know how long I should leave it.

Second thing is my cheat day, do I really need one ? Is the science behind this that every so often your body gets a lot of naughty food so you wont store as much once you stop cutting, I was planning on leaving it about 2 weeks before I had a cheat day, Also does the cheat day consist of eating what the hell you want or should you still limit yourself to a certain amount of carbs, protein, fats etc ?

Finally, my workout routine usually involves me doing drop sets, Ill start off heavy and then drop down and do less reps, Should i continue to work like this whilst doing a cut or should I look at doing 3x10 for example.

Anyway that will do for now, thanks a lot for reading haha

Take it easy everyone.
