Struggling

I started my variation of the dave palumbo keto diet on Monday and I must say I am struggling. Lacking energy and craving so many foods. Have been planing my cheat meal already. Have done 2 cardio sessions this week already and they have been challenging managing 2 miles in 20 mins on the treadmill. And then spending 10 mins on spinning bike. Does anyone have any tips of wat I could have with my scrambled eggs in the morning as finding them bit boring?

    chilli flakes/powder godsend on the keto diet
    go with everything.

    the lack of energy is only short term youl be back to normal by next week

    are you using anything to supress appetite ?

    Don't worry man you eventually get used to it. I was exactly the same the first time I did it for the comp. I started it again on Monday though and I'm not really suffering as much as last time. I usually have some chilli flakes with my eggs only takes a little sprinkle and it really adds some zing, try it.

    Bacon, mushrooms? Think there okay on keto, cravings come and go be strong. Energy will come flying back soon, red bull sugar free is zero carbs zero sugar

    haha!! my man!! i hate scrambled eggs on its own, i had them boiled with crispy bacon - works a treat..

    your energy will come back after first carb up, id lay off cardio if u feeling weak - diet itself will work on u, add cardio once u feel a bit better, u should be going into ketosis by now so possibly could start feeling even worse but stay strong - as absurd as it sounds - its a good thing - your body is adjusting to your diet, as long as u dont get any heavy stomach cramps and shits ull be fine. enjoy..

    Thanks guys must try get my hands on some chilli flakes. And MTom5 no I'm not using anything to supress my appetite. Pure mental strength I know I've only got to push it for 4 weeks.

    Keep going mate, it does get easier!
    I have a small amount of tomatoe sauce. Appreciate it is not the best but helped get the eggs down. I will try the chilli flakes though, didnt think of that!

    sneaky tip - when I go through town I 'relocate' some of the ketchup and mayo sachets from weather spoons so that when im super hungry I can still portion control it! + it means I have portable condiments........... (mint sauce and mayo is a good one on plain chicken if you are having a salad)
