This question may have been asked before but was wondering what bed-time protein you guys are currently using!

I have just become the PHD kid (I just need the t-shirt now) as I thought I would try the PHD blend so just placed my order!!!

So that is PHD Synergy ISO-7
PHD Pharma Whey
and now: PHD Blend

On another subject, say im goin to a football match and dont want to take a shake with me, is it alright to have a meal with a pharma blend even though itll be too much protein?

Is the blend the 6hr protein?
I'm always hungry, so like to eat rather than drink before bed. I used to have a tin of tuna, but after a lot of comments from my wife about my fish breath, I now have cottage cheese with a scoop of nutrisport 90+ and some linseeds or sunflower seeds mixed in. I like it so much I'll often have it during the day if I'm at home!

The blend is the 6hr protein correct.

A couple ofreasons that meals are spaced out are:

1) You feel fuller longer
2) Your body remains in an anabolic (muscle building) state for longer
3) Your metabolism speeds up to break down ingested food

Rather than stuff yourself up and/or carry a protein shake around with you, why don't you take something like a protein bar or similar?

I know your meant to eat every 3 hours, i was just wondering because the blend is slow release is it ok to eat it say half an hour an hour after ive had my meal so i dont have to mess about at the match. I dont normally buy the bars because they cost more than the shakes. Saying that i wont have the trouble now til next year, because when the season starts again itll be nearly winter and i'll just load up on the hotdogs!

Wilks....im pretty sure i have read somewhere that having 6meals or say 3meals doesnt actually have any direct affect on your metabolism...oh god..maybe i shouldnt have brought this up...im going to have to spend ages seeing if i can find the study or conclude i was actually mistaken!

Haha dig out the study mate!

Possibly the 'degree' of effect may vary, but I think I've read something about metabolism rising - could be wrong though! It could be that it's all about staying in an anabolic state which is entirely possible!
