hey guys its been while since i last posted. iv been trying to bulk up tons of people said i have filled out and my arms are thicker.

My question is i want to get some definition now in my chest etc. But i am bit confused how to do it. i have been told to increase cardio and lower my carb in take. I have got bit of fat around my abs due to increase in protein in my diet. When i get defintion i dont want to go skinny again as i am aware when you tone you lose body fat and weight. can anyone give me advice i am 6f6 14stone

Hi m8, definition is made from having a low body fat percentage so depending if you have put on good quality lean muscles mass this wil show when you start cutting up, how ever if you have justput on fat in these areas then you will loose this when you start on a cutting diet. Just make sure you know what you want from your training if you want more size you will have to putup withbody fat as part of a goodhealthy caliorie intake to repair and rebuild muscle tissue, to be toned the advise you have been given is basically right, you muscles can have the effect of looking bigger when toned tho.

Keep your protein intake to 1-1.5g per lb of body weight.
Fat around 0.4-0.5g per lb Bodyweight.
Restrict your carbs...maybe just have carbs from the shake plus say Recovery 2:1 after your workout!

Start off with 3-5cardio sessions of 30mins with a heart rate of around 120bpm and see how you get on from there!

Good luck.

There is no easy option. It's all hardcore dedication. Fat is just gonna burn from all over. You can not burn fat from one particular place. Like the guys said. Choose a goal and a time to get there. Follow Joshs advice and plan. This will give you a flat stomach eventually. Then decide from there which goal is next. You have to be 100% dedicated or it just won't work. Like the song goes "there's no easy way out" there's no short cut home"
good luck!

I wouldn't worrry about weights and measurements, I don't any more.

Use the mirror instead , It doesn't lie, if you don't think your arms are big enough, work them harder, if you think you have a little too much fat, do more cardio,

but diet is just as important, if not more than the exercise you do, If you don't eat right you're not gonna see noticeable changes.
