Has anybody tried Quinoa yet? if not you need to get on it, its considered a superfood - up there with eggs and watercress. Unbelievably good for you and tastes great. Best amino acid profile out there.

It's pronounced 'keenwah' - a South American grain eaten by the aztecs and is avaliable in healthfood stores and supermarkets everywhere now.

Takes around 20minutes to cook, not the nicest flavour but a very good profile.

not one of the best tasting foods out there but it's defo a superfood,
apparently it's also packed with more vit c than lemons and peppers combined..(?)..
Anyway, I might give it another go but need to find some good recepy for it.. Couscous is in the lead for me on grains.

Yeah I have been using quinola during the bulking phase of diet. I love it, much easier to eat that rice i find :)

Quinoa can be mixed with millet and steamed for about 12/15 mins...i have been told.
But it is what you mix into them that makes it tasty. ie garlic, herbs,chilli's, mushrooms etc etc.
Imagination is the key imho...lol!

Eat it now and then and when I do I spice it up a bit, I like it with swordfish or salmon fillets.
