Just wondering how everyone trains their legs? I find splitting them up doing hamstrings 1 day and quads another day helps so i can hammer both seperately. I also find training quads in the morning stops me feeling as sick (maybe something to do with the gym being cooler, and ive got less food inside me). Ive started training quads on a sunday morning and have actually started enjoying it!

That looks brutal! How do u do reverse lunges just go back instead of forward? Are they better than normal ones? Today i did:

leg extensions x 3 sets

Leg press x 3 sets

Squats x 5 sets

Hack squats FST 7

But I'd take my back leg further back & wouldn't quite touch my knee on the floor....


There's loads of lunge variations you can use, I'd also do one with a bench behind me, a bit like this, but with reps & a barbell!

Are lunges a leg builder or more of a shaper? I dont mind doing them but i do leg extensions to warm up before squats so theres not much room, then agen i never feel that achey after legs i mite jus add 2 sets of lunges in there.
