Hi everyone,
Quick bit about me i suppose. I am 21 years old and I have been training since February this year. My aim of training is to get a slightly more muscular build and then i hope to lower my body fat to get that ripped look! (i think thats the best way to go about it)
I have a way to go and i think i need to tighten up my diet to reach success so I thought i'd register on the forum as a way to track my progress, get tips and see how other people get on with things!
Well i figure thats all i need to put here! :)

Ok well here goes then,
I train 6 times a week roughly, hitting a different muscle group each day. So monday is typically a chest workout, i mix the actual work outs up a bit but theres always an incline bench press and im now pushing 20kgs and i assume the bar is 20 also! im pleased that im doing that now!
I usually do 4 sets of 10 - 8 reps if im feeling good 10 - 12 reps. and if i up the wieght 6 - 8 reps.
Then a day for arms, legs, abs, shoulders, back.
I also try and squeeze a second abdominal session in after another body workout usually 3/4 days after the previous ab session.
I am pleased with my workouts at the moment and i have deffinately gotten stronger and bulked out a little since starting "properly" back in February.
Diet is definately my downfall.
Not so much because i eat rubbish, i just don't give it enough attention.
I use Sci MX Lean Grow MRF, if anyones heard of it.
I havent really tried that many supplements so any tips on what might be better or similar would be great.
I take a shake around an hour or so before a workout, and then get one in straight after.
My meals throughout the day could use some improvement... Im working with a stringent budget and im also a fussy eater so i struggle finding suitable meals to compliment my training.
I never miss breakfast, which is always a wholegrain type cereal, with semi skimmed milk.
Lunch when im at work is typically some form of vegetable soup with wholegrain bread on the side.
Dinner is never a sure thing, i always have some but im so irratic with where i am going to be in the evening i dont get to plan them very well!
So to summarise, (because thats probably not all that easy to read!)
Gym 6 times a week (all anarobic training)
3 meals a day + 2 protien shakes
I also squeeze in cardio after the gym around 2 or 3 times a week.
I used to run 5 times a week before i switched cardio training for wieght training!
Anyway, hope thats understandable, any ideas on improvements would be great if i can give more infor just let me know and i will! :)
