Im going to be TRYING to bulk up for the next 8 weeks and have been doing ALOT of reading on what type of training split to do. To be honest there are so many, my eyes are beginning to hurt and fluid is gushing out of my ears as my brain is melting.
I quite like the 4 days split Upper, Lower, Upper, Lower or the 3 day a week all over body compound exercise split.
Im not after the default answer as there really isnt one. Im just interested what the guys of FITFORUM adopt for their training split.
Answers below please.

I will go first.
My current routine is 3 days a week, Monday (8-10 reps), Wednesday (6-8 reps) and Friday (4 - 6 reps).
I will do compound exercises such as deadlift, bench press, squat, military press and body weight exercises such as dip, press ups, chin ups, inverted rows etc.
Example day - typical Wednesday
Dumbell Split squat - 3 x 8 Reps - 35 kg dumbells
Dumbell Mil Press - 3 x 8 Reps - 35 kg dumbells (superset with the split squats).
Parallel Chin Up - 3 x 7 Reps - 10 kg on my back.
Parallel Bar Dip - 3 x 8 reps - 25 kg on my back (superset with chin ups).
I do alot of supersets as i dont have much time and need to keep my training routine down to below 45 mins.
I have found good strength increases on this type of routine.

I do a push/legs/pull split twice a week with a day off inbetween, but i split my legs into two seperate workouts so hamstrings one cycle quads the next. And i'll do all pushing movements for chest one session then isolation for shoulders then the next i'll do pushing for shoulders isolation for chest. Also i'll have a back thickness workout like deadlifts, bent over rows and face pulls and then a width workout like chins nautilus pull over machine and reverse grip pull downs. Im going to start changin my routine alot more now because ive noticed an increase in strength since changing. Do you do different exercises or just concentrate on the main compound for each muscle group each day?
