Had whole wheat pasta for the first ever tonight, I could not taste any difference from normal pasta at all. If it's better for you and tastes the same as normal pasta then why the hell doesn't everyone use it??!

Thats exactly why, because its better for you! I cant taste the difference either, although i do like that fresh egg pasta you can get, but thats my winter pasta!

I think it's to do with the colour! I was reading the other day that Red and Yellow make you feel hungry - McD's, Wimpy etc. Brown is just not that appetising! (Spread the word that brown is goooood!!)

The texture is different. Also it's easily overcooked them the texture is awefull. Bur I like it more than normal pasta. But nothing beats fresh! Also for a treat try brown pasta aldente with nutella. It's a slimming world recipe it actually really good.

Rice, and i know it counts as bread but wholewheat tortillas are awesome! I saw an advert of minced meat and chilli sauce tortillas that had been on my mind for a few weeks so i decided to give it a go, went abit overboard on the chillis but i dont think ive ever enjoyed a meal so much!

My only carbs sources are brown rice, porridge, baked potato and quinoa. I find pasta bloats me out too much and makes me feel really tired, I think I may have a gluten intollerance.

What do you have quinoa with? What does it taste like? I see all these beasts eating it in flex and ive always wondered!

Doesn't really taste of much, dead easy to cook and stores will in the fridge. I like this recipe (http://videos.bodybuilding.com/watch/21681/cooking-with-christina-episode-9-beef-quinoa)

That answers my question about how to use it then! Im abit fussy with food so i wouldn't have as much veg, but i like mixing food all together and eating it out of a mixing bowl! Quality im gonna watch a few more of them, cheers pal.

I don't eat pasta or bread because of the gluten content, certain allergies and neuropathies are caused by gluten consumption.

My complex carbs of choice instead are oats, quinoa, rice and potato.
